This year we start with the delivery of a Volvo Penta 16 liter industrial engine with 565 kW (768 HP) to re-power a Sandvik Mining machine.
The 16 liter engine is equipped with a Heavy Duty package due to the extremely dusty conditions. This package contains a HD radiator with, among other things, a larger distance between the fins, which reduces the risk of clogging and makes cleaning easier. A robust two-stage air filter and HD wiring harness which is equipped with a braided heat shrink design. The cables inside the heat shrink are practically immovable, even with high vibrations, made for the most extreme conditions.
A solution that reduces wear and tear and thus increases deployability.
