Last week we delivered two Volvo Penta D8MG Marine Gensets for the electrification of an existing dredger.
The Volvo Penta D8MG Gensets provide a comprehensive solution for the power supply of the entire dredging installation and the on-board electrical system, with the gensets being used alternately during light loads to keep operating hours and service intervals the same.
A Volvo Penta Marine Genset is delivered from the factory with engine, generator and monitoring system, fully tested and ready for installation on board. The sets are approved by the major classification societies.
