The installation of the IPS-600 twin installation is progressing steadily at Bekkers Yachts. The IPS pods are already mounted in the airframe and the bright white D6 engines are ready to be hoisted into the engine compartment.
The Volvo Penta D6 marine engines are built extremely strong, using advanced technology and materials. The motor and IPS pod together form a compact, robust and highly efficient package that is easy to install. This gives excellent long-term reliability and durability. The steerable IPS pods provide superior maneuverability at low speeds and excellent handling at high speeds.
The joystick control makes mooring simple and safe, even in the most cramped and/or busy harbors.
