In addition to these new developments, we would like to draw your attention to what can already be applied today. Think of the use of renewable fuels (HVO) in our Stage-V industrial engines. We would like to give you the confidence to make the switch and thereby reduce your CO2 emissions with today's technology.
HVO is a renewable, paraffinic fuel, also known as 'synthetic diesel'. Not only does this fuel significantly reduce CO2 emissions, it also significantly reduces soot and is sulfur-free compared to most conventional diesel fuels. You can expect the same performance and consumption when you use HVO 100 as a fuel in your Stage-V diesel engine.
In addition, the Stage-V engines do not require any modification, approval or specific certification for HVO 100 use. No changes are necessary in the maintenance intervals and the normal warranty conditions continue to apply.
