Recently we have put this Volvo Penta TAD881VE into use at Schakelborn in Rotterdam. The 185kW Stage V industrial engine powers a Vacu-Tainer8000, a containerized vacuum unit that is used worldwide in ship docks for the suction of, among other things, blasting grid.
The Volvo Penta 8 liter combines very compact dimensions with high power, which is certainly an engineering must in this application.
